AI Search Connector is the sign-in step that links your Google Search Console and Google Analytics 4 accounts to the AI search visibility reports you already use.
What it does
Reports about AI search visibility are more useful next to your real traffic. AI Search Connector is the piece that makes that connection. You sign in with Google, you choose which property to share, and your reporting portal can then show your Search Console and Analytics figures beside its own data.
You stay in control of the connection. You pick the property, and you can disconnect at any time.
How it works
- You open your reporting portal and choose to connect Google Search Console or Google Analytics.
- Google asks you to sign in and shows you exactly what access is being requested.
- You choose the site or property you want to share.
- Your portal reads that data on a schedule and shows it in your reports.
What access it asks for
AI Search Connector requests read-only access, and nothing else:
.../auth/webmasters.readonly: read your Search Console sites and their search performance..../auth/analytics.readonly: read your Google Analytics properties and their reports.
It never writes to your Google account. It cannot change your settings, submit or remove URLs, edit a property, or alter anything in Search Console or Analytics. It cannot read your email, your files, or your contacts.
Removing access
Disconnect the account inside your reporting portal, or remove access directly from your Google Account at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Either way, we stop reading your Google data. The Privacy Policy explains what happens to data already collected.
